19 August 2015 Main Meeting

Meeting Summary. . .

This evening’s event was the first held in the Community Room in the Santa Barbara County Genealogical Society (SBCGS).  Despite the need to navigate around and through road construction on the 101/Castillo Street Underpass to reach the new venue, it was attended by approximately 17 individuals. Julian Dean was the key-presenter for this evening’s event and he led a focused Q & A session with attendees — most questions centered on Gmail and it was a very interesting round-table discussion.  An additional high point was the raffle for two (2) $100 gift cards—Congratulations to winners Ricky Rodriquez and William Noack!

Bottomline, the “Everything Email” presentation lead by Julian Dean was well-received!

Overall the feedback about the SBCGS venue received from those in attendance suggests that next month’s meeting will be held at the same site.
